Texas Mathematics has taken another detour in the initiative to prepare ALL students to be "Algebra Ready". The Revised TEKS 2012 will be fully implemented into all K-8 Math Classrooms this school year, 2014-2015. Join this blog as we collaborate on the best teaching practices for all learners, dig deeper into the movement of TEKS across grade levels to close gaps in our curriculum, and share ideas on how to build depth and complexity for conceptual understanding.

Thank you Selena. :-) I am working this morning on changing some things up, including my title. I am putting some more thought into the goals of the blog and how I can use this to help teachers collaborate and grow together. Also, I would like to do a book study once a semester with the blog being our site to share.
